The aim of this meeting was to bring together young people from European countries, foster action, debate and reflection, related to European citizenship and democracy, bring Europe closer to its citizens by promoting Europe's values and achievements, and encourage interaction between citizens and civil society. It was thought that these things would help young people contribute to mutual and better understanding of different cultures, be more active civic participants in European affairs and explore the benefits of cultural diversity. The project brought together groups of young people from different backgrounds and the course helped them understand more about citizenship.

The youth discussed the values of European citizenship, developed cooperation for future activities as the groups prepared intended projects. The young Europeans also celebrated the Day of Europe and commemorated the Millennium of Lithuania's name. In addition the participants visited some places of interest in the district.

Young people increased their motivation in implementing activities and implementing common projects the youth understand the values of Europe and ideals of citizenship. The cooperation filled up the lack of the knowledge necessary for effective understanding about the necessary work and activities.

The information in the media about the event presented the positive Youth's attitude to European values. It is thought that citizens from partner communities in different European countries learnt more about different cultures, religion, races, human rights, equality and solidarity among people as the activities prepared during the event might be implemented in the partner communities and European citizens could be involved in these projects.
